Please join us for the morning and learn about our internationally recognized MATE Loggerhead ROV Program, tour our facilities, and even try piloting a ROV in our Ocean Engineering Lab! Our students will be on hand to speak about our program and answer your questions.
During this event, we will be collecting donations to help support our program as well as help offset student travel cost so they can study at the Bermuda Institute of Ocean Sciences in January and travel to 2019 MATE International Competition in Kingsport, Tennessee in June.
If you are unable to attend our event and are interested in making a donation to our program, please send a check made out to the Mount Olive High School and mail to:

Sea Turtle Recovery, STR, is a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Organization dedicated to the rehabilitation of sea turtles and educating the public on the important ecological role of sea turtles, threats endangering them, and ways to protect their future. The Sea Turtle Recovery is a separate nonprofit located inside Essex County Turtle Back Zoo. STR provides staffing, food, medicine, surgeries and other treatments to sick and injured sea turtles until they can be released back into the ocean. Sea Turtle Recovery also performs outreach throughout the region to raise awareness about sea turtles.
You can learn more about their amazing work by visiting their website at www.seaturtlerecovery.org.
We hope to see you there! Go Loggerheads!
